My morning routine typically starts with some kind of motivational podcast, blog or email. This choice puts a pep in my step and it helps me set my daily intention before diving into my to-do list.

The topic of today’s listen was how to have a breakthrough year. The speaker, Trent Shelton, encouraged listeners to ponder what is holding them back from stepping outside their comfort zone, going after their goals and sticking with their plans. I think this concept can be easily applied to our personal lives and our professional/business goals. If we want to see growth on any level we do need to step out of our normal and try something new – and also remember consistency is key. How we (or our business) show up today affects tomorrow.

Now, when it comes to trying something new to elevate your business, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It just might be time to bring in a fresh set of eyes who can help you:

👋 Set SMART goals and realistic KPIs (a goal of making all social posts go viral is still not realistic sadly)

👋 Hone in on what’s important to you and your team in 2024

👋 Strategize ways to help your current and potential consumers see how you can make a difference in their lives

👋 Create a social media content calendar and blog topic list that is a right fit for your company while also aligning with trending topics that mesh well with your messages

👋 Make 2024 a year to remember

After reading that list, if you need a communications strategist to help you review your goals and bring them to life through PR tactics, social media planning and more, be sure to reach out. Who knows, maybe I can help you find your new favorite motivational speaker in the process, too! 📆
